Orbital Studios, a virtual production studio, is seeking a Virtual Production Site Representative to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. As a Virtual Production Site Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of production preparation, shoot, and wrap days.
The ideal candidate is passionate about filmmaking and has a genuine interest in virtual production technology. They also have production experience, and familiarity with production processes, terminology, and the overall flow of production.

Responsibilities
- Act as the main client point of contact, serving as a conduit between the client and Orbital team to address facility questions
- Open and close the facility during production days
- Maintain a daily report to document any incidents, damages, and other relevant information.
- Manage parking in coordination with security staff
- Manage house lights
- Track and manage hours, including notifying production of overtime
- Run and monitor AC units, including emptying condensate basins at regular intervals
- Keep a general eye on the facility and its furniture usage to help prevent and address damages
- Perform light cleaning tasks, including ensuring toiletries are stocked, sweeping, and emptying trash
- Conduct a final walk-through with the production to ensure studio is restored, and any damages are accounted for and documented upon wrap.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Pay and Schedule
- Hourly rate: $25 – $35 per hour, depending on experience.
- Typical workdays: 10-12 hours
- Overtime: Time and a half for hours beyond 12
