We are looking for experienced and talented real-time Unreal Artists to work with us on our Virtual Production initiative and craft high-end 3D scenes, environments and assets that enable filmmakers to tell imaginative and extraordinary stories. The role will include collaborating with internal teams, content creators and filmmakers on commercial projects and feature films.
Responsibilities
Visualisation and creation of assets, design, development and delivery of props, levels, environments, and content for virtual production under tight schedules
Working with internal and external teams on mock-ups/concepts, blocking out sequences and animatics, look development and design of interactive experiences
Remotely supporting on-set virtual production
Optimisation of virtual sets/rebuilding of assets for real-time rendering
Communicating progress to all stakeholders
Collaborating with programmers to develop and test new features, and provide helpful feedback during R&D phases
What we are looking for
3+ years in a professional game production team or Virtual Art Department in a Senior or Lead Artist role, with experience in the creation of high-end assets for AAA games or cinematic sequences
Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine and 3ds Max or Maya
Proficiency in the areas of Lighting, Layout, Texturing, Rendering and Blueprint creation inside Unreal Engine
Experience optimising assets and environments for real-time
Working knowledge of Source Control/Perforce is a plus
Strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly and easily adapt to changing priorities in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
Portfolio or website demonstrating technical and artistic ability that includes Unreal-based work
