Responsibilities 

  • Install and configure hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize connectivity
  • Maintain websites
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and networking issues
  • Ensure security of IT infrastructure
  • Oversee user permissions and all services and apps
  • Configure alerts according to access limits to get incident reports
  • Work cross-functionally with pipeline and other development teams to build and operate systems and services that provide reliable and scalable solutions supporting the artist experience
  • Procure necessary hardware, software, licenses (communicate with Production team to provide options based on needs within budget)
  • Train other employees on how to use the system properly

Skills 

  • Proven experience in a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or Desktop Support role
  • 2+years of experience in DevOps or Engineering
  • Knowledge of operating systems and networking platforms
  • Understanding of system security and data recovery
  • Knowledge of networking and databases
  • Experience deploying and operating production-related services such as database, render farm queues, configuration management systems, and license servers
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate well with non-technical team members
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the technology teams on engineering projects, systems development and resolution of high level technical issues.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, Awk)
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and its orchestration.
  • Basic understanding of Monitoring and Observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Splunk)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Active Directory experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate and document technical concepts to a range of audiences
  • Propose, cost, design, develop and implement production engineering systems.
  • Solid experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems and related hardware. Computer Science degree or equivalent.

    Japanese: conversation level referred but not mandatory.
