DNEG’s Virtual Production Department provides a cutting-edge service to clients that helps them return to the roots of film, allowing filmmakers to see what is being filmed as it happens, using Virtual Reality, Augmented reality and more.
Virtual production is quickly being adopted by the industry due to its vast benefits, more iterative workflow and ability to visualise things in a naturalistic way.
We are looking for a Senior Unreal Artist who will be working in the Content Creation team developing content for virtual production for use in Film & TV. The Senior Unreal Artist remotely supports on-set virtual production to create immersive real-time experiences for film production. You will be Leading an art team to create and optimise assets for Unreal Engine, design levels and environments and create stunning FX.
As well as being technically proficient, you will also need to be a good communicator and strong team manager and task organiser. 

Must-Have

Significant time spent working in a professional game production team or Virtual Art Department in a Senior or Lead Artist role.
A desire to take responsibility for managing artists and delivering the highest quality content.
A commitment to teamwork, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine and 3dsMaxMaya
Expert knowledge of Substance Painter/PhotoshopQuixel Mixer or equivalent
Proficiency in the areas of Lighting, Layout, Sequencer Animation, Rendering and Blueprint creation inside Unreal Engine
Experience optimising assets and environments for realtime
Working knowledge of Source Control/Perforce
Nice to Have

Understanding of Rigging characters, Props and Vehicles in Maya and translation of that data into Unreal
An understanding of art production methodologies such as AGILE and Scrum based team management.
Experience working with traditional VFX teams.
